Barre Life

Adenike ‘Niki’ Corion
Niki is the Owner/Founder, Studio Coordinator and a Master Trainer at Barre Life Fitness Studio. After many years working in the Toronto Film Industry as a Wardrobe Stylist and later running a successful Spa business, she wanted to go back to her roots in dance and thought what better way than combining dance with fitness. With over 15 years of Ballet and Contemporary Dance Training, she wanted to develop her own barre method with a focus on the ballet conditioning that she and her instructors were essentially trained in.
Niki is also certified in the Essentrics ® method, Personal Fitness Training, Pilates certified and Progressing Ballet Technique L1 Certified (PBT) Conditioning for young dancers. All of these disciplines are a great compliment to her love of dance. Her overall mission was to bring the barre method to Oakville as she knew the history of the barre technique is what produces the results our clients are striving for and will forever change your perspective on exercise and movement.

Sharon Publicover
Sharon took her first yoga class 14 years ago. Although she took classes over the years it wasn’t until she had to give up her first love, running, because of injury, that she developed a consistent yoga practice. Sharon first enjoyed the physical side of yoga, loving the way it constantly challenges her body. She soon discovered the spiritual aspect of yoga and was amazed with how yoga pushed her to be more mindful of her own body, mind and spirit. After years of a consistent yoga practice, Sharon took the next step of going through teacher training to further her own practice. With a background in Social Work, Sharon’s desire to help others help themselves extends to her life as a yoga instructor. Through her classes she encourages her students to find their own peace and strength, providing them with the opportunity and place to be their authentic self. Sharon’s classes create a strong, spacious body and a peaceful mind.
